Mihai never gave up the lead
6 players · 1 November 2026
6 players, 30 hands, one winner and a pile of excuses. Let's see how it went.
Last place, with dignity: Ana, with 110 points. Somebody had to do it. The place above was a single point away. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
Neither at the front nor at the back: Vînă in 5th, with 111 points. The comfort zone. Vînă was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand. Before the last eights, only 8 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.
In 4th place, Elena, on 112 points. The last hand decided it: Elena went past Vînă right on the line.
Leize rounds out the podium with 124 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. One card, a single card, and Leize still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.
Ioana finished second, just 2 points short of the win. At one stretch, 12 good hands in a row.
2 points. That's all. Mihai won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.
Well played everyone — and especially Mihai!
