Scorpio04 comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 63 slips at the table and scores from 111 down to 79.

Scorpio04 crossed the finish line first, on 111 points. Scorpio04 only went in front at the very last hand.

Dana finishes second, 4 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Dana was ahead of Scorpio04 right up to the last hand. Dana was even in front after the fourth of the closing eights.

Third, and on the podium: Victor, with 98 points. In the third of the opening eights: Victor said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Carmen and Scorpio04. At one stretch, 15 good hands in a row.

Irina finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 93 points. After the seven-card hand on the way up, Irina was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

In 5th place, Carmen, on 80 points. In the second of the opening eights, Carmen bid 0 and took 3 — and Dana went down with it.

Last, but with style: Sorin, with 79 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. The place above was a single point away.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
