Vyce takes the table

4 players · 23 September 2026

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 39 slips at the table and scores from 119 down to 58.

Vyce won at a stroll, with 119 points and 45 clear of the rest. At one stretch, 11 good hands in a row. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Daniel S took second with 74 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 4 hands in a row: Daniel broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Daniel was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Carmen rounds out the podium with 64 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Carmen went past Kiki right on the line.

The tail of the table: Kiki, with 58 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. In the second of the opening eights, Kiki bid 0 and took 3 — and Carmen went down with it. Kiki was ahead of Carmen right up to the last hand.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
