The lead passed from hand to hand, 8 times over — it was anyone's guess.
Last place, with dignity: BigBarbu24, with 70 points. Somebody had to do it. Leading by the book until the six-card hand on the way down... then the cards turned the page. BigBarbu24, hard luck. In the last of the closing eights: BigBarbu24 said 3, scooped 6, and Ana was left counting the pieces.
Elena rounds out the podium with 73 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Elena went past BigBarbu24 right on the line. Elena was even in front after the last of the opening eights.
Ana led for 13 hands but finished second, 3 points behind. Ana was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand.
Mihai won with 94 points, by a whisker: just 3 points ahead. Mihai only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
