The comeback of Gigel

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 63 points. In the first of the opening eights: Ana said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Gigel. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ana didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 85 points. In the first of the closing eights: Mihai said 4, scooped 7, and Ana was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mihai said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Elena, with 109 points. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

First place: Gigel, with 116 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 17 good hands in a row.
