A tug of war, won by Alice

The lead passed from hand to hand, 6 times over — it was anyone's guess.
3 points. That's all. Alice won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
Ana finished second, just 3 points short of the win. Ana was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.
Pity rounds out the podium with 131 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Pity was even in front after the five-card hand on the way down.
Mara finished 4th with 99 points. In the second of the middle eights: Mara said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Pity. Mara spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.
In 5th place, Coca, on 79 points. 2 hands in a row: only Coca slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Coca.
Vlad took last place without any nerves at all, on 61 points. In the second of the opening eights: Vlad said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Mara. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Vlad said and... hoped. It didn't hold. In the fifth of the closing eights the table couldn't make up its mind about Vlad: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.
Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
