PaulP comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 41 slips at the table and scores from 101 down to 47.

PaulP took the game with 101 points and a 24-point cushion — never really in doubt. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, PaulP was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Vyce led for 20 hands but finished second, 24 points behind. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Vyce said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Daniela rounds out the podium with 69 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the third of the opening eights: Daniela called 1, took 5, and Vyce was left out in the cold.

Petru took last place without any nerves at all, on 47 points. In the seven-card hand on the way down, Petru bid 2 and took 5 — and PaulP went down with it.
