Emi wins the evening

A game of broken contracts — 37 of them around the table, and scores from 101 all the way down to 62.

Monica took last place without any nerves at all, on 62 points. In the last of the opening eights: Monica called 2, took 5, and Emi was left out in the cold. Before the last eights, only 6 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Elena rounds out the podium with 80 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Elena was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Sebi finishes second, 12 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. In the first of the opening eights: Sebi called 4, took 8, and Elena and Monica were left out in the cold.

First place, no appeal: Emi, with 101 points. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Well played everyone — and especially Emi!
