Pity takes the table

Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

First place and peace of mind: Pity, with 107 points. Pity couldn't bear to look 3 times 🙈 — some cards are not meant to be seen.

Gigel finishes second, 11 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. 3 hands in a row: only Gigel slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Gigel. 10 good hands in a row — at one point, Gigel was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Third, and on the podium: unf0rgettable, with 84 points. 12 behind Gigel, 21 ahead of Olga — right in the thick of it.

Olga took last place without any nerves at all, on 63 points. Leading by the book until the last of the opening eights... then the cards turned the page. Olga, hard luck. 4 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Olga didn't — but insisted, with dignity. In the first of the closing eights the table couldn't make up its mind about Olga: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
