The comeback of Daniela

The lead passed from hand to hand, 6 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Last place, with dignity: Ionela, with 75 points. Somebody had to do it. Started like a champion — top of the table after the second of the middle eights — and finished like a tragedy. Level on points with Luis, and behind only on the tie-break.

Luis completed the podium with 75 points. 3 hands in a row: only Luis slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Luis.

Ana took the runner-up spot with 84 points. Ana was ahead of Daniela right up to the last hand. Ana was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way up.

First place: Daniela, with 91 points. Daniela only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Well played everyone — and especially Daniela!
