Claudiu comes back from behind

Claudiu comes out on top of everyone, with 116 points. The cards were kind. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. Claudiu couldn't bear to look 4 times 🙈 — some hands are better not watched.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Nico, with 106 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Nico didn't — but insisted, with dignity. Nico spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Radu rounds out the podium with 98 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Radu went past Raluca right on the line. Radu was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Raluca in 4th, with 98 points. The comfort zone. Level on points with Radu, and behind only on the tie-break. Raluca was ahead of Radu right up to the last hand.

Daniela closes out the table, with 90 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. 2 hands in a row: Daniela broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. After the six-card hand on the way up, Daniela was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
