Denisa wins the evening

A game of broken contracts — 35 of them around the table, and scores from 110 all the way down to 60.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 60 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ana didn't — but insisted, with dignity. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 82 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Elena took second with 84 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the second of the closing eights: Elena called 1, took 4, and Ana was left out in the cold. Elena was even in front after the five-card hand on the way up.

Denisa wins by 26 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. At one stretch, 6 good hands in a row.
