Bot takes it in the closing rounds

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 40 slips at the table and scores from 93 down to 38.

First place: Bot, with 93 points.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. PaulP, with 88 points. PaulP was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way up.

Third, on the podium: Elena, up there with eyes on the top step. In the five-card hand on the way down: Elena said 1, scooped 5, and MrXciting was left counting the pieces.

MrXciting took last place without any nerves at all, on 38 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only MrXciting didn't — but insisted, with dignity. Before the last eights, only 10 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
