Daniela comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 7 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Daniela takes the game with 134 points and goes home happy. It didn't start well — only 5th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Second place for Alina, with 115 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. In the fifth of the opening eights: Alina said 2, scooped 6, and Cretu and Daniela were left counting the pieces. Alina was even in front after the two-card hand on the way down.

Third, and on the podium: Cretu, with 110 points. Cretu got past PaulP at the very last hand. Cretu was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Neither at the front nor at the back: PaulP in 4th, with 106 points. The comfort zone. PaulP was ahead of Cretu right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, PaulP was leading the table — but the last hands had other plans.

Florentin finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 100 points. In the last of the middle eights: Florentin said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Alina and Daniela. In the seven-card hand on the way up the table couldn't make up its mind about Florentin: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Carmen closed the table from the back, on 100 points — there is always a next game. Level on points with Florentin, and behind only on the tie-break.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
