Ana wins the evening

The cards are back in the box. Here is what happened at the table.

Matia took last place without any nerves at all, on 79 points. In the fourth of the opening eights: Matia said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Vînă.

In 5th place, Vînă, on 96 points. Vînă left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

CIV16670 finished 4th with 113 points. The second of the middle eights: CIV16670 called 7 with the heart, not the cards. Eyes bigger than the hand.

Elena rounds out the podium with 120 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the second of the middle eights, Elena bid 0 and took 3 — and CIV16670 and Matia went down with them. Elena was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Mihai took second with 137 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Ana won at a stroll, with 160 points and 23 clear of the rest. At one stretch, 17 good hands in a row.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
