The comeback of edge

4 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Last place, with dignity: Mihai, with 75 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity. After the six-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena rounds out the podium with 81 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Cretu led for 15 hands but finished second, 8 points behind. In the last of the closing eights: Cretu called 0, took 4, and Elena and Mihai were left out in the cold. Cretu was ahead of edge right up to the last hand.

edge takes the game with 101 points and goes home happy. edge only went in front at the very last hand. edge was even last after the two-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
