Third, on the podium: Ionela, up there with eyes on the top step. In the last of the closing eights: Ionela said 4, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Radu. Ionela was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down.

Vyce finishes second, 4 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. In the third of the middle eights: Vyce called 0, took 3, and Ionela was left out in the cold. Vyce was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

First place and peace of mind: Luis, with 94 points. Luis was even last after the six-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter.
