CCC comes back from behind

5 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

3 points. That's all. CCC won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 13 good hands in a row.

Elena finished second, just 3 points short of the win. Elena was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Radu completed the podium with 105 points. Radu left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Catalin in 4th, with 95 points. The comfort zone. After the four-card hand on the way up, Catalin was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Daniela in 5th, with 90 points. The comfort zone. In the first of the closing eights, Daniela bid 0 and took 3 — and CCC and Catalin went down with them.

Last place: Claudiu, with 82 points. In the last of the opening eights: Claudiu said 0, scooped 3, and CCC and Catalin were left counting the pieces. The four-card hand on the way up: 2 chairs thrown at Claudiu in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
