The lead kept changing — Olga came out on top

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 50 points. In the second of the closing eights, Elena bid 3 and took 7 — and unf0rgettable went down with it. Before the last eights, only 9 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

unf0rgettable rounds out the podium with 73 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. unf0rgettable swore 0 in the three-card hand on the way up and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Luis took second with 86 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Luis was even in front after the first of the middle eights.

Olga took the game with 108 points and a 22-point cushion — never really in doubt. In the first of the middle eights, Olga bid 1 and took 4 — and unf0rgettable went down with it.
