Ionela comes back from behind

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

Ionela takes the game with 105 points and goes home happy. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 12 good hands in a row — at one point, Ionela was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Ana led for 10 hands but finished second, 14 points behind. 3 hands in a row: only Ana slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ana.

Daniela completed the podium with 91 points. Level on points with Ana, and behind only on the tie-break. In the third of the closing eights, Daniela bid 3 and took 6 — and Ana went down with it.

Luis took last place without any nerves at all, on 58 points. In the first of the closing eights: Luis said 1, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Daniela.
