Emi comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Emi crossed the finish line first, on 113 points. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. Going into the last hand the lead was already 24 — that one was a lap of honour.

Ioana finishes second, 15 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. The last hand decided it: Ioana went past Radu right on the line. Ioana was even in front after the second of the middle eights.

Radu completed the podium with 95 points. Radu was ahead of Ioana right up to the last hand. Radu was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Nico finished 4th with 91 points. After the third of the closing eights, Nico was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Gigel took last place without any nerves at all, on 70 points. 2 hands in a row: Gigel broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
