Another evening at the green baize, and it had a bit of everything.

crista finishes on 142 points, 20 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems.

Catalin took second with 122 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. The third of the closing eights: Catalin bid 6, made fewer, and counted the regrets. Catalin couldn't bear to look 3 times 🙈 — some cards are not meant to be seen.

Third, on the podium: CCC, up there with eyes on the top step. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only CCC didn't — but insisted, with dignity. CCC cried laughing 10 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Claudiu finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 110 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Claudiu was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

In 5th place, Adrian Gh, on 104 points. Adrian swore 0 in the third of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour. In the fifth of the opening eights the table couldn't make up its mind about Adrian: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Mihai closes out the table, with 93 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. 2 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai.
