The lead kept changing — Luis came out on top

The lead passed from hand to hand, 10 times over — it was anyone's guess.
10plus took last place without any nerves at all, on 38 points. In the second of the middle eights, 10plus bid 1 and took 5 — and Codrin went down with it. 3 hands in a row: 10plus broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
Third, on the podium: PaulP, up there with eyes on the top step. The last of the middle eights: PaulP called 6 with the heart, not the cards. Eyes bigger than the hand.
Codrin led for 12 hands but finished second, 8 points behind. Codrin swore 0 in the two-card hand on the way down and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.
First place and peace of mind: Luis, with 94 points. Luis cried laughing 4 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.
