Vyce comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Vyce wins by 25 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Adell led for 9 hands but finished second, 25 points behind. Adell swore 0 in the first of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Third, and on the podium: Luis, with 70 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Luis said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Luis was even in front after the last of the opening eights. Luis cried laughing 5 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

10plus took last place without any nerves at all, on 52 points. In the first of the middle eights: 10plus said 2, scooped 5, and Adell was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only 10plus didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
