The comeback of Radu

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Scorpio04 took last place without any nerves at all, on 77 points. In the third of the middle eights: Scorpio04 called 2, took 6, and Alina and Ana were left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: only Scorpio04 slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Scorpio04.

In 5th place, Alina, on 114 points. Alina was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, Alina was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Mihai finished 4th with 122 points. Mihai got past Alina at the very last hand. The place above was a single point away.

Elena completed the podium with 123 points. Level on points with Ana, and behind only on the tie-break.

Ana finished second, just 3 points short of the win. Ana was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Radu won by a whisker, with just 3 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. Radu was even last after the five-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter. At one stretch, 16 good hands in a row.
