Gigel, from start to finish
5 players · 2 October 2026
5 players, 27 hands, one winner. Here is how it went.
3 points. That's all. Gigel won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 9 good hands in a row — at one point, Gigel was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
Elena finished second, just 3 points short of the win. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.
Mihai rounds out the podium with 95 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the three-card hand on the way down: Mihai called 0, took 3, and Gigel was left out in the cold.
Sebi finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 85 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Sebi was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 56 points. In the second of the opening eights, Ana bid 1 and took 4 — and Sebi went down with it. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
