Alice comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

3 points. That's all. Alice won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Mihai finished second, just 3 points short of the win. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Third, and on the podium: Emi, with 132 points. Emi was even in front after the last of the opening eights. At one stretch, 14 good hands in a row.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Radu in 4th, with 118 points. The comfort zone. Before the last eights, only 5 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Elena finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 111 points. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Kiki took last place without any nerves at all, on 75 points. 2 hands in a row: only Kiki slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Kiki.

Well played everyone — and especially Alice!
