Ana, from start to finish

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 34 slips at the table and scores from 102 down to 71.

First place, no appeal: Ana, with 102 points. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 11 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Elena, with 83 points. On the one-card hand, Elena laid down a card and a fistful of luck. It held.

Daniela rounds out the podium with 82 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The place above was a single point away.

Last, but with style: Laura, with 71 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Before the last eights, only 8 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Well played everyone — and especially Ana!
