Mihai, from start to finish

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 34 slips at the table and scores from 112 down to 78.

Mihai took the game with 112 points and a 22-point cushion — never really in doubt. In front from the third of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 6 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Ana took second with 90 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: only Ana slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ana.

Third, on the podium: Scorpio04, up there with eyes on the top step. Scorpio04 got past Elena at the very last hand.

Last, but with style: Elena, with 78 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Elena was ahead of Scorpio04 right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
