Denisa wins it late

A game of broken contracts — 35 of them around the table, and scores from 105 all the way down to 69.

Last, but with style: Carmen, with 69 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Carmen was ahead of Olga right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Carmen didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Olga rounds out the podium with 72 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Olga went past Carmen right on the line. In the six-card hand on the way down, Olga bid 2 and took 5 — and Carmen went down with it.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Elena, with 96 points. Elena was even in front after the four-card hand on the way up. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Elena was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Denisa gathered 105 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo!

Well played everyone — and especially Denisa!
