Elena never gave up the lead

A game of broken contracts — 36 of them around the table, and scores from 98 all the way down to 62.

MrXciting closes out the table, with 62 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. In the first of the opening eights, MrXciting bid 1 and took 4 — and Ana went down with it. 2 hands in a row: MrXciting broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Third, and on the podium: Ana, with 75 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Second place for Mihai, with 88 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. Mihai spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Elena won the game with 98 points. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
