Cretu comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 10 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Cretu gathered 113 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Cretu said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Kiki took the runner-up spot with 104 points. In the first of the opening eights: Kiki called 0, took 3, and Sebi was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Kiki broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Third, on the podium: Emi, up there with eyes on the top step. Emi got past Coca at the very last hand. Emi was even in front after the five-card hand on the way up. Emi declared the table on fire 4 times 🔥.

In 4th place, Coca, on 92 points. In the third of the closing eights, Coca bid 1 and took 4 — and Emi went down with it. Coca was ahead of Emi right up to the last hand.

Sebi took last place without any nerves at all, on 74 points. The fourth of the opening eights: Sebi called 6 with the heart, not the cards. Eyes bigger than the hand.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
