Mihai, from start to finish

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 39 slips at the table and scores from 108 down to 62.

Mihai took the game with 108 points and a 25-point cushion — never really in doubt. In front from the last of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Ana took second with 83 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Third, and on the podium: Luis, with 67 points. Luis got past Elena at the very last hand.

Last place: Elena, with 62 points. Elena was ahead of Luis right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Well played everyone — and especially Mihai!
