The comeback of Luis

The lead changed hands 10 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Last, but with style: Mihai, with 80 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Mihai was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand. After the four-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, on the podium: PaulP, up there with eyes on the top step. Level on points with Elena, and behind only on the tie-break. PaulP was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand.

Elena led for 14 hands but finished second, 1 point behind. The last hand decided it: Elena went past PaulP right on the line. The place above was a single point away.

1 point. That's all. Luis won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. Luis only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. Luis cried laughing 4 times 😂 — a fun evening, at least on one side of the table.

Well played everyone — and especially Luis!
