A tug of war, won by Elena

The lead changed hands 5 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Elena comes out on top of everyone, with 108 points. The cards were kind. Going into the last hand the lead was already 25 — that one was a lap of honour. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Luis finishes second, 15 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Luis was even in front after the four-card hand on the way down.

Mihai completed the podium with 73 points. In the last of the middle eights, Mihai bid 3 and took 6 — and Ana went down with it. 2 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 49 points. In the third of the middle eights: Ana called 2, took 5, and Luis was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
