Ionela comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Ionela won by a whisker, with just 1 point — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. Ionela only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Ana led for 15 hands but finished second, 1 point behind. Ana was ahead of Ionela right up to the last hand.

Third, and on the podium: Luis, with 88 points. Luis said they'd take nothing in the first of the middle eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 55 points. The table was Mihai's after the last of the opening eights; the second half had other ideas.
