Luis comes back from behind

7 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

First place: Luis, with 98 points. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 6 good hands in a row.

Ionela led for 16 hands but finished second, 19 points behind. Ionela swore 0 in the first of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Catalin completed the podium with 76 points. In the second of the opening eights, Catalin bid 2 and took 5 — and Luis went down with it.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 49 points. Mihai had the table at their feet after the five-card hand on the way down. Whist was there to remind them nothing lasts forever. 2 hands in a row: Mihai broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
