A tug of war, won by Denisa

The lead changed hands 5 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

First place and peace of mind: Denisa, with 113 points. Going into the last hand the lead was already 23 — that one was a lap of honour. 6 good hands in a row — at one point, Denisa was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Mihai finishes second, 19 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. In the third of the middle eights: Mihai called 3, took 6, and Ana was left out in the cold.

Ana completed the podium with 78 points. The last hand decided it: Ana went past Elena right on the line.

Last place, with dignity: Elena, with 75 points. Somebody had to do it. Leading by the book until the six-card hand on the way down... then the cards turned the page. Elena, hard luck. Elena was ahead of Ana right up to the last hand.
