Mihai comes back from behind

Champion of the evening: Mihai, with 107 points. The rest, see you in the replay. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Ionela led for 11 hands but finished second, 5 points behind. Ionela swore 0 in the four-card hand on the way up and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Kiki rounds out the podium with 79 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Kiki broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Kiki was even in front after the second of the middle eights.

Last, but with style: Luis, with 74 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the third of the opening eights: Luis said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Kiki. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Luis said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
