Mihai takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 37 slips at the table and scores from 112 down to 54.

Mihai finishes on 112 points, 24 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Elena took second with 88 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Elena was even in front after the last of the middle eights.

Ana rounds out the podium with 74 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Daniela took last place without any nerves at all, on 54 points. In the last of the closing eights: Daniela called 0, took 5, and Elena was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Daniela broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Well played everyone — and especially Mihai!
