The comeback of Raluca

The cards are back in the box. Here is what happened at the table.

Nico closes out the table, with 81 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. After the five-card hand on the way up, Nico was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Ana finished 4th with 85 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ana was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena rounds out the podium with 93 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Elena was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Mihai finishes second, 8 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. In the third of the opening eights: Mihai said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Nico. Mihai spent a good while in last place and climbed out of it.

Raluca comes out on top of everyone, with 109 points. The cards were kind. In the second of the middle eights: Raluca said 0, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Elena. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
