Payet never gave up the lead

6 players, 30 hands, one winner and a pile of excuses. Let's see how it went.

Vyce took last place without any nerves at all, on 73 points. 2 hands in a row: Vyce broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Laura in 5th, with 104 points. The comfort zone. Laura swore 0 in the last of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

In 4th place, Elena, on 119 points. After the first of the closing eights, Elena was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Radu, with 121 points. At one stretch, 9 good hands in a row.

Ioana finishes second, 10 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Ioana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

First place and peace of mind: Payet, with 145 points. In front from the last of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
