Sebi comes back from behind

The cards went out, and so did the egos. Here is what came of it.

Sebi comes out on top of everyone, with 119 points. The cards were kind. In the third of the opening eights: Sebi said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Elena and Emi. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Mihai, with 111 points. Mihai was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Third, and on the podium: Emi, with 100 points. In the fourth of the opening eights: Emi said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Elena. Emi spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

In 4th place, Ana, on 93 points. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ana was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Last, but with style: Elena, with 81 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
