Ana wins it late

5 players, 27 hands, one winner and a pile of excuses. Let's see how it went.

Elena closes out the table, with 66 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. Level on points with Ioana, and behind only on the tie-break. In the first of the closing eights: Elena called 3, took 7, and Ioana was left out in the cold.

Ioana finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 66 points. Ioana got past Elena at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ioana didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 101 points. Mihai was even in front after the five-card hand on the way up. At one stretch, 10 good hands in a row.

unf0rgettable finished second, just 2 points short of the win. One card, a single card, and unf0rgettable still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

Ana won by a whisker, with just 2 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
