PaulP, from start to finish

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 39 slips at the table and scores from 126 down to 46.

PaulP took the game with 126 points and a 52-point cushion — never really in doubt. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. In the three-card hand on the way up the table couldn't make up its mind about PaulP: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Elena took second with 74 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Kiki completed the podium with 59 points. In the second of the closing eights, Kiki bid 3 and took 7 — and Elena and Scorpio04 went down with them. 9 good hands in a row — at one point, Kiki was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Last, but with style: Scorpio04, with 46 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the last of the closing eights: Scorpio04 said 3, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Kiki. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Scorpio04 said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Scorpio04 declared the table on fire 3 times 🔥.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
