Olga, from start to finish

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 36 slips at the table and scores from 109 down to 73.

Olga wins by 22 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. In front from the last of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. At one stretch, 6 good hands in a row.

Ana took second with 87 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: Ana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Mihai completed the podium with 75 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Last place: Elena, with 73 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Before the last eights, only 1 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.
