Ionela comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Ionela won the game with 97 points. In the first of the middle eights: Ionela called 2, took 6, and Mihai was left out in the cold. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Luis led for 9 hands but finished second, 5 points behind. The last of the middle eights: Luis called 8 with the heart, not the cards. Eyes bigger than the hand. Luis cried laughing 3 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Daniela rounds out the podium with 72 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Daniela broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 52 points. From leader to red lantern. The little wedge tipped the big cart — and the cart was Mihai.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
