Emi wins it late

A game of broken contracts — 35 of them around the table, and scores from 108 all the way down to 60.

The tail of the table: Monica, with 60 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. Before the last eights, only 9 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Elena rounds out the podium with 69 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the second of the closing eights, Elena bid 1 and took 4 — and Ionela went down with it.

Ionela led for 20 hands but finished second, 7 points behind. Ionela left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.
