The comeback of Mihai

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Elena closes out the table, with 111 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. Elena left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Ioana finished 5th with 113 points. In the third of the middle eights: Ioana said 3, scooped 6, and Elena was left counting the pieces. The place above was a single point away.

Ana finished 4th with 114 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold. After the third of the closing eights, Ana was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, on the podium: Radu, up there with eyes on the top step. In the second of the middle eights: Radu said 1, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Emi. Radu was even in front after the three-card hand on the way down.

Emi finishes second, 4 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Emi was even in front after the fourth of the middle eights.

First place: Mihai, with 126 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Well played everyone — and especially Mihai!
