unf0rgettable comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 8 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

unf0rgettable wins by 20 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Elena took second with 111 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the fourth of the closing eights: Elena said 3, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Mihai. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Third, on the podium: Luis, up there with eyes on the top step. Luis got past Mihai at the very last hand. Luis was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Mihai in 4th, with 95 points. The comfort zone. Level on points with Luis, and behind only on the tie-break. Mihai was ahead of Luis right up to the last hand.

Radu took last place without any nerves at all, on 68 points. 2 hands in a row: Radu broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
